ABOUT THE DESIGN

Our background is inspired by classical geometry. In antiquity, there were four branches of mathematics: arithmetic, geometry, astronomy and music. Hypatia worked in the first three. She studied and taught  geometry for its own philosophic discipline, not for its practical applications. It is said that she helped preserve the work of Archimedes, the greatest student of classical geometry.

ABOUT THE SHIRT

Our Hypatia Shirt is printed on our favorite unisex garment, the Bella+Canvas 3001, made from 100% ring-spun cotton and tailored to fit “true to size.”  Order small, medium, large or extra-large. We prefer the heather purple background, but you can choose magenta, orange or gold.
